I'm pretty artsy, so in high school I took up watercolor. Then I moved on to music, picked up the trumpet, piano, guitar and a drum machine, and laid down a whole album of out of sync, out of tune tracks. I got a little literary too, and put together a poorly written novel, a few short stories, and a poem.
Then I took a picture... with a camera... at a wedding, and this was perfect. I had tried all these other mediums and it finally clicked. Art. People. And the happiest, most emotionally complex day of a couple's life.
When I started doing wedding photography, a lot of it was just about making visually stunning images. It still is that, but now it's so much more. I've realized that I have the opportunity to take a picture that might be the most important picture you ever look at for the rest of your life, and for that, I am honored. My photography is not just about art, nor is it just about getting you some fancy prints; it is about preserving your memories, about giving you a family heirloom you can cherish for generations to come.
That's me. I'd love to get to know you and be a part of your special day.
